Job Description
We’re looking for a talented Digital Designer to join our team. The Digital Designer will have to design all the visual aspects of our web projects… Basically, you will have the chance to create websites without ever having to touch wordpress. Your goal will be to help us create efficient websites. A successful website is based on a visual that gives confidence to visitors, by a fluid navigation and by highlighting the main arguments. In short, the job is to help us influence as many visitors as possible to make them buy a bunch of products and services
Task allocation
Website design
Our strategic team takes the information with the client and determines all the content associated with each page of a website. From the content plan, you are responsible for the visual development of the website:
- In collaboration with the strategic team, understand our clients' project objectives and challenges, understand the end-customer personas (website users) and understand the elements that drive these end-customers to act;
- Develop the visual interfaces of each page of the websites while respecting the graphic standards of the clients;
- Develop an interface that offers an intuitive and ergonomic navigation experience for Internet users;
- Understand the concept of diagonal reading and ensure that the important arguments are seen and understood by Internet users;
- Prepare, verify and clean up wireframes for integration on the website;
- Prepare the material for the integrators: search and processing of images, banners, animated slider, font type, etc;
- Ensure the graphic quality of projects throughout the production phase.
Design of other types of web content
- Develop newsletter interfaces;
- Static banner ads;
- Designing storyboards for animated banners;
- Create advertising visuals to populate various social media (Facebook, Instagram, etc.);
- Any other related task (logo creation, print documents, image editing, etc.)
Important
Creativity and innovation are important! However, we are not a sensational concept creation agency with extravagant brainstorming meetings during which we eat licorice and drink organic guru while saying everything that comes to mind until an idea crazier than the others is strangely unanimous due to a collective sugar rush.
L'effet Futé is more of a strategic digital agency, analyzing human behavior and focused on concrete and measurable results. Of course, we don't mind if you want to eat licorice during our meetings
Required skills

Skills and abilities required
- A minimum of one year of experience in web design;
- Creative vision;
- D.E.C. in web design, multimedia or bachelor's degree in a related field;
- Rigor and speed of execution;
- Thorough knowledge of Adobe software (Photoshop, XD, Illustrator, InDesign);
- Very high attention to detail and ability to follow procedures;
- Ability to work under pressure and manage stress;
- And most importantly : Be Witty
Workplace
L'effet Futé's offices are located in Sainte-Thérèse. Therefore, we have a preference for candidates from the North Shore. In addition, you must have a vehicle.
