Job Description

We are looking for a digital marketing representative who has the spirit of a consultant. Our portfolio of digital products is diverse, advanced and subject to rapid evolution due to technological advances. To maximize our clients’ results, you will be required to offer global solutions that can sometimes become complex. We are looking for someone who has two great strengths: being a consultant and being an excellent communicator!

Being a consultant means identifying relevant information from clients that will allow us to recommend the right digital marketing strategy according to their business objectives. This means:

  1. Listening to and understanding the client’s marketing objectives.
  2. Delving into certain topics to identify issues and problems.
  3. Recommending a comprehensive solution that includes various products and solutions offered by L’effet Futé.

Being an excellent communicator means being able to synthesize freshly collected information, to quickly determine the solution paths that meet the client’s needs and to express them in a language that is easy to understand without diminishing the depth of your recommendations.

  • Is able to diagnose the issues and objectives of our clients and prospects
  • Has an innate ability to sell, understand the consumer and present relevant arguments

  • Is involved in the economic life of the sector he/she represents

Additionally, under the leadership of the Sales Manager, you will need to achieve your personal goals on the job. You will be evaluated on:

  • Your sales performance
  • The quality of your customer service
  • Your knowledge of the products and services we offer

Task allocation

Sales Department Responsibilities

Achieve the objectives assigned to you by the Sales Manager:

  • Meet prospects on the road or at our offices.
  • Learn about the prospect's complete situation: their needs, their clientele, their products and services, the particularities of their field, etc.
  • You will have to be able to write clear and relevant summaries in order to produce quality quotes and Prezi/pptx presentations.
  • Finalize agreements and ensure administrative follow-up on the CRM.
  • Maintain a healthy pipeline and evolve complete sales cycles.
  • Collaborate in business development activities such as 5@7.
  • Do some prospecting in your area of operation.

Client Management

Stay involved in the lives of your assigned clients:

  • Ensure efficient transition of files from sales to production.
  • Meet with clients to present performance reports and future strategies.
  • Highlight key areas of improvement based on customer expectations.
  • Develop and maintain a long term relationship with clients in order to generate new opportunities and ensure account retention.
  • Follow up with existing customers to ensure their satisfaction.

Marketing responsibilities

We are specialists in digital marketing. You will need to learn the fundamentals of our business.

  • Understand the technical aspects of a complex web strategy and be able to clearly explain a strategy to a client;
  • Evaluate and solve problems that may arise during the execution of projects by providing solutions;
  • Be on the lookout for new trends and know the evolution of the market.

Skills and abilities required

  • Good understanding of digital solutions (search engine marketing, search engine optimization and social media)
  • Understanding of agency processes, including sales and production, with a minimum of 3-5 years experience
  • Education in communications, marketing or advertising. Experience is preferred over education;
  • Bilingual (a VERY strong asset)
  • Be an optimistic person who likes to get things done!
  • And most importantly : Be Witty

Workplace

L'effet Futé's offices are located in Sainte-Thérèse. Therefore, we have a preference for candidates from the North Shore. In addition, you must have a vehicle.
