Job Description
We are looking for a new Futé to join our team! The Digital Integrator will participate in the creation of new websites and the continuous improvement of existing ones.
Primarily, the position is made up of three main components:
- Integration of templates on WordPress
- Development of custom features on websites
- Integration of digital referencing strategies (SEO)
We are looking for someone who :
- Has a thorough understanding of WordPress (and other popular extensions);
- Has a solid handle on HTML and CSS writing;
- Has advanced knowledge of PHP and Javascript writing;
- Has a strong marketing sense.
Task allocation
WordPress integration
- Installation and configuration of WordPress and other plugins;
- Website development based on mock-ups created by our UX designer;
- Integration and update of digital content;
- Creation of animated sliders using Revolution slider;
- Integration and configuration of e-commerce websites;
- Website translation (not the text, but the pages!).
Backend Developer
- Develop custom functions on websites in PHP and Javascript;
- Perform basic server management in collaboration with our host's support team;
- Communicate with clients for technical support.
Digital strategy integration
- Integrate SEO strategies into a website (URL, Title, Description, H1, Image, etc.);
- Adjust websites according to the recommendations of our web strategist;
- Execute internal and outbound link strategies;
- Follow-up with the web strategist on the progress of the strategy;
- Set up online chat modules with triggers;
- Create and integrate Schema.org tags;
- Install tracking code and configure events in Google Analytics;
- Optimize website speed;
- Adjusting the website for mobile devices so that they are easy to use.
Required skills

Required skills and abilities
- The web integrator must be proficient in WordPress and popular plugins:
- Knowledge of popular themes: Jupiter, X theme, Avada, Be Theme, etc...
- WooCommerce, Revolution Slider, WPML, SEO by Yoast, Caching plugin, Elementor, Visual Composer, Advanced Custom Field (ACF), Contact form 7, NexForm, etc...).
- DEC or AEC in a relevant field;
- 2 to 5 years experience in a similar position;
- Knowledge of Photoshop;
- Bilingual (a VERY strong asset);
- Hardworking;
- Very high attention to detail;
- Self-taught;
- Great autonomy;
- Good management of priorities;
- Ability to work under pressure;
- And most importantly : Be smart
Workplace
L'effet Futé's offices are located in Sainte-Thérèse. Therefore, we have a preference for candidates from Laval and the North Shore.
Telecommuting is offered 2 days a week for a nice balance.
