A family business

An automobile business with the largest inventory of vehicles in its warehouses in Québec. Transferred from father to daughter, today the business is run by two experienced and proactive businesswomen.

We met the Entrepôt Auto Durocher team and immediately felt a strong connection with this family business established many years ago. L’effet Futé is proud to work with them to create and optimize their website. We also intend to bolster their online presence by advertising their site and promoting it on social networks.

The challenges facing Entrepôt Auto Durocher

Despite being in a tumultuous period in which there is a shortage of cars, prices and interest rates are rising and things have still not returned to normal post Covid, we have to find solutions to maintain good website performance. 

Obtaining a better ROI, namely more monthly leads with a good conversion rate to reduce the cost per lead.

Strategies

To implement the proposed strategy, we had to make major changes and rework Entrepôt Auto Durocher’s entire web presence. 

We made changes to the amount of advertising promoting the website, as well as the website conversion rate.

Advertising strategy
We have launched over 45 advertising campaigns with Google Ads to cover every type of car and service, divided among three regions to better manage the budget and performance of each campaign. Our promotional strategy with a target audience on social networks makes us visible to those thinking about changing their car.
Conversion rate
We proceeded to adjust their website to improve the conversion rate, while the L'effet Futé team developed the new website. Once the new website is online, we will continue to optimize its conversion rate.
UX analysis
In the interest of improving the conversion rate, our user experience strategists carried out behavioural analyses of those visiting the site: surfing patterns, click map, scroll map, session video recordings, and session statistical comparison and analysis studies. Consequently, we were able to adjust the website to ensure the ongoing optimization of visitor behaviour and boost the number of leads.

Results

We obtained a lead acquisition cost three times lower than that offered by sites specializing in want ads for used vehicles.
