Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Sales Manager to assist in administrative tasks and in business development activities. You won’t have to sell, but you must have a friendly and positive attitude. During these meetings, your job is to organize information. You will need to capture relevant information, react to it and file it in the right place in our systems.

Under the direction of the Sales Director, you will be required to write clear and relevant summaries in order to produce quality bids and Prezi/pptx presentations.

Task allocation

Sales department responsibilities

Assist the Sales Manager in his duties:

  • Accompany the Sales Manager to all business development meetings.
  • Collaborate in 5@7 business development activities (equivalent of 1 to 2 per month)
  • Coordinate the Sales Manager agenda and screen his calls
  • Coordinate activities related to the follow-up and the execution of the various mandates of the Sales Manager.
  • Propose the agenda and evaluate the priorities. 
  • Ensure the efficient execution of all ongoing sales projects;
  • Ensure a smooth transition of files between sales and production;
  • Review and format documents according to agency standards.

Inbound lead management responsibilities

Respond to leads from our ads and assign them to the right representative:

  • Answer incoming sales calls, qualify them, record them in the software, direct or route them according to established processes;
  • Follow up with representatives to ensure that the various steps of the sales process are carried out correctly;
  • Follow up and document the evolution of leads in order to prepare performance reports.

Administrative responsibilities

Support the general management in the various clerical and organizational tasks of the company:

  • Efficiently use the various administrative systems (filing, customer invoicing, expense accounts, suppliers, employee vacation pay);
  • Follow up on bad debts. Send emails and contact customers in default of payment.

Marketing responsibilities

We are specialists in digital marketing. You will need to learn the fundamentals of our business.

  • Understand the technical aspects of a complex web strategy and be able to clearly explain a strategy to a client;
  • Evaluate and solve problems that may arise during the execution of projects by providing solutions;
  • Be on the lookout for new trends and know the evolution of the market.

Skills and abilities required

  • Excellent synthesis skills
  • Very good attention to detail and ability to follow procedures;
  • Excellent ability to manage priorities;
  • Excellent ability to manage time;
  • Enjoy meeting and being in the presence of people
  • Understanding of agency processes, including sales and production, with at least 3 to 5 years of experience.
  • Possess an education in communications, marketing or advertising. Experience is preferred over education;
  • Willingness to learn new tasks outside the job description;
  • Excellent oral and written skills in French and English.
  • And most importantly : Be Witty

Workplace

L'effet Futé's offices are located in Sainte-Thérèse. Therefore, we have a preference for candidates from the North Shore. In addition, you must have a vehicle.
